Description
Renowned as one of the most versatile guitar designs of all time, the semi-hollow Gibson ES-335 has made a profound impact across a wide range of genres and continues to be cherished by countless musicians. This exceptional 1959 model features its original PAF pickups and electronics, offering the unmistakable vintage tones that have come to define its legendary status. It’s undergone a refret resulting in excellent playability, and the original tuner buttons shrunk and started to deteriorate so they have been replaced with modern replicas (originals are included in the case).
The most substantial change to this instrument is the neck being re-shaped and refinished after a heel crack. In the process, some black was also sprayed over the heel joint to cover the repair. The neck now has a very slim profile, closer to easy 60s Gibsons. Overall it remains a remarkable instrument with unrivaled tone and playability!
